Michelle Duy is the niece of Mr. Duy - the originator of this program. Ever since she was able to hold a pencil in her hand, Michelle would draw. At this time she has come to be quite an artist, basically drawing figures in her own special style and design. She has the uncanny ability to achieve distinct facial features and body language with just a few strokes of the pen. Since a well-paying career in art is difficult to come by, Ms. Duy transcribes physicians' notes into reports. Her appetite for drawing is being somewhat satisfied by the characters she creates for Mr. Duy's program. She knows only too well what it's like to be bullied. Being a rather shy and quiet individual, she was not always included in the activities with other girls. Several of her drawings struck a very familiar note to her - one being "Don't leave anyone out" and another being "Be yourself". She hopes that children will see these pictures and realize that all of us have worth, and that we should value differences in individuals. As you can see, Ms. Duy is a very attractive young lady who is proud of who she is and what she has been able to accomplish. Remember, "Be nice to your neighbor". That person next to you may be famous some day!
