The Bully
Why Bully?

Why does the bully do what he or she does?  Recognition, need for power, fun, comes naturally -  all of these and more.  Bullies come in all shapes and sizes with all types of personalities.  They like to think of themselves as superior and victims as a lower life who deserve to be picked on.  They think there's nothing wrong with picking on the low-lifes, they deserve what they get, they're low-lifes.  "Low-lifes" meaning someone inferior in their eyes such as not being as popular, looking or acting somewhat different than the "popular" kids, not acting cool or wearing the clothes you should wear.  They are unacceptable, therefore, it's O.K. to look down on them and give them a hard time.  In the every-day world it's similar to the "haves" and "have-nots".  Who needs "have-nots"?  Who wants to be like the "have-nots"?  Who wants to associate with the "have-nots"?  Who wants to be seen with the "have-nots", because if you do, you become a have-not.  They're like trash, so it's O.K. to treat them like trash.  That's how the bully thinks, and that's why the bully acts like a bully.  Some nice way of thinking! - don't you think?
